Candidates convicted by a court of law for a serious offence, as determined by the competent military authority.
Candidates permanently declared medically unfit by the Appeal/Medical Board.
Candidates declared medically unfit due to Hepatitis B or C, where an Appeal Medical Board cannot be requested.
Candidates withdrawn from bonded Armed Forces colleges or institutions on disciplinary grounds.
Candidates withdrawn, discharged, resigned or having purchased their commission from any Armed Forces Officers Academy or Training Institution on any ground.
Candidates who tamper with academic certificates, submit forged documents or conceal information to obtain an unfair advantage will become permanently ineligible for all types of commission in the Armed Forces.

Special condition for married female candidates: Married female SSC candidates must provide an undertaking stating that they will not be in a family way at the time of joining and during the training period.
